La ceremonie des finissants!

Well, we skipped a few days... to get to today, Graduation!!!

Monsieur Wanie handed-out report cards at the end of grad-rehearsal this morning and this evening...

...everyone looked great at Vaughan Road Academy. Monsieur Wanie proudly handed-out the diplomas  to happy graduates. Hopefully everyone had a good time both at Vaughan and at Casa Abril or whatever "private" celebration they attended.

It was a great year, good luck in high school to all students from 86 and 87. Come by and say hello anytime!

This will likely be the last post of the year...

Geez, another really hot day in room 22!

Students worked for a double period on their "Tintin" albums and 87 had another opportunity to watch some student-selected youtubes!

Today, students are working hard to get to the end of their "Tintin" assignments.

Everyone attended the music performance this morning. Wow, some fantastic music!

Lundi, le retour a la ville!

So, we're back from a full week up at Camp Arowhon in Algonquin Provincial Park.

From all the feedback I have received, students had a great time! So did teachers!

Any comments about Camp kids?

Gosh, who even remembers Friday... There was an Arowhon meeting in the afternoon to give students a few reminders about Monday but other than that, Monsieur Wanie had meetings before and after school as well as at lunch so the rest of the day was a blur of "Tintin" albums...

Today, students had lots of time to complete their 8th "Tintin" album questions. Pretty straightforward day...

Next week is the Arowhon trip, so everything is winding down for a week of the outdoors!

Today was the due-date for the "Projet d'art industriel". Students did an amazing job building scale models of the industry from their oral reports.

As well, students had a chance to finish-off their 7th "Tintin" album and begin their 8th!

All in, a pretty peaceful, Winona workaday!

So, Monsieur Wanie was away on Thursday but it seems most students were working on their "Projet d'art industriel" and their "Tintin" as outlined on the day plan...

Today, the firm due-date for the "Projet d'art industriel" was posted: mercredi, le 6 juin.

As well, students worked on their "Tintin" albums.

And finally, students performed a much needed locker clean-out... stinky stuff!
