Mardi, de nouveau, la pluie.

Today, students had their day of pool. Unfortunately, there are still a few students not participating in the program!

In the afternoon, Monsieur Wanie had a TLCP meeting, so students worked on their "Geographie" under Mr McKee's supervision.

Vendredi, une belle journee et ensuite?

Today was the due-date for the latest "Histoire" assignment. Quite a few students missed the date, it was a tough unit... Hopefully their assignments will be on Monsieur Wanie's desk on Monday!

In the meantime, students began working on the new "Geographie" unit. Students all copied the assignment outline into their notebooks. It will be posted to the blog on Tuesday.

Jeudi, on dirait l'ete!

Today, students had another period to work on their "Le comte de Monte Cristo" and "Histoire" assignments.

Mercredi, gris.

So today, students began a large "Francais" unit. The first part involves reading the illustrated novel "Le compte de Monte Cristo" and answering comprehension questions. Students worked by themselves on the assignment.

As well, students had an opportunity to use the textbook to work on their "Histoire" assignments.

Mardi, trop de pluie!

So today was a rainy day. Seems neither 86 nor 87 managed to stay dry, they both had pool!

In the afternoon, Monsieur Wanie handed-back 87's "Geographie" assignments.

Lundi, une tres belle journee!

86 and 87 both had lots of time today to work on their "Histoire".

It's a really tough unit partly because Monsieur Wanie is only providing minimal tips on this one. Students instead are working in groups. A bit of peer group work should make it all a bit more interesting! Next unit, it's back to the usual with class discussions and all.
