So, today classes 86 and 87 agreed on the hand-in date for the "Post-war" house projects to be Monday, March 26th.
As well, students worked on the "Histoire, chapitre 7"...
Students, we had been talking about and studying working conditions in developing nations. Here's a bit of awful news from a garment factory fire in Bangledesh: http://news.yahoo.com/workers-die-factories-used-tommy-hilfiger-003219691--abc-news.html

Is the Indian act the same Indian removal act?
I'm reading something and it says
"The sudden increase in demand encouraged a range of vessels to be pressed into use to carry the gold-rush travellers and their cargo."
What do they mean by the vessels?
Thanks Najat 8/7
oh never mind it means a boat or something right?
i read the Bangladesh tragedy. and yes they should spend LOTS of money to make better working conditions. why does everything...bad have to happen in bangladesh. my dad and mum will probably be pissed thinking these people aren't trying hard enough to make sure the workers are safe.
Najat: Similar problems but no. Vessels = boats.
Leya: It's a wonderful place with a huge population density and tons of potential... regarding their troubles, it's like anywhere else but on a grander scale!
