Jeudi, re-soleil.
More awful news about apparel factories... scary and sad. What are your thoughts on the social responsibility of Canadian clothing sales outlets? (This is very pertinent to the Grade 8 "Geographie" program.)

Mercredi, la pluie pour les plantes!
Today both 86 and 87 attended a presentation by Toronto Police Services called "When decent people make poor decisions". In the afternoon, Monsieur Wanie had a great discussion with 86 on the topic of bullying. Unfortunately, 87 failed to understand the seriousness of the topic and will clearly require some remedial work on the subject.
As well, there was time today to work on "Le galop du Templier" and the "Histoire" due on Monday.
Note: the "Histoire, Chapter 12" for 86 is due on Monday, April 29th. For 87, that due date is Friday, April 26th.

Mercredi, mi-semaine de pluie!
What a miserable day, weather-wise only of course!
In class, students did some reading of their "Sonson et le volcan" novel. Monsieur Wanie did a bit of guided reading at the end of the first period just to help clarify a few things ahead of the quiz next week.
Later in the day, students worked on their 3D projects. Some of them are looking pretty cool!
