So, Monday...
Students worked on their "Sonson et le volcan" today in preparation for the quiz this week.
As well, students worked at their "Histoire, Chapitre 2" unit due on Wednesday.
And 87 worked on their "Legend storyboard"... while chatting a bit too much!

Hey, Mr.Wanie it's Max from 8-6.
I have some questions about the assignment for wednesday.
-What sacrifices did George Brown have to make to form the compromise?
-What were some of George Etienne Cartier's main beliefs?
-for 5a), i'm not really sure how to say what type of role George Brown played in creating divisions. I know he was firm in his beliefs, but how should i rephrase it?
-What was the main way Anne Nelson changed George Brown's mind about a compromise?
Also mr.Wanie, how long should a make the news reporter article?
hey max its alex just thought i'd anwser your last question. Mr Wanie said the news reporter article should be 10 lines
Ok, thanks Alex!
no problem
Hi Max, the specific sacrifices George Brown had to make are not clear. Mainly, we can say he became more amenable to the opposition's proposals. George-Etienne Cartier was a lawyer before entering politics. One of his main coups was a bill introducing of a federally funded railway company: The Grand Trunk Railway. (It would be the beginning of a trans Canada rail link. Saying George Brown was firm in his beliefs is sufficient. Anne Nelson didn't change Brown's mind so much as provide perspective for him. Brown realized that spending time with his wife and children was preferable to squabbling with his political adversaries. Alex, thanks. 10 lines it is.
Ok, thanks for the information Mr. Wanie, that really helped.
