There hasn't been a blog update in a while, here it is. Not very exciting but an update none-the-less:
Reports are coming out soon, February 11th ish. So, students have quite a few assignments to complete in a hurry!
Due this week:
Cartes: Le Continent Africain, L'Amerique du Sud
A L'Aeroport
30 Phrases
As well, just a quick note to remind students that all "Histoire" and "Geographie" assignments must include:
-Something that's been said (in other words, something we discussed in class)
-Something that you've read (as in something you found in the textbook)
-Something from the web (like something you researched on a reliable website online)
-Something from your head (so something that shows you can relate your personal experience to what's going on in the "Geo" or "Histoire" programme.

M. Wanie for question #10 where you have "to show 3 possible routes to travel from Halifax to the Pacific Coast in 1875" can I just show the routes through the Rockies because that is only hard part of the question because I can just draw a line easily. Also, can I follow the path that some highways go through today as 1 route?
M. Wanie, I was working on the history assignment, and for questions VTC 5, 6 ,7 and ATC 1, we didn't talk them in the lesson. I was wondering if this week we were going to have another lesson, or I should just do those questions on my own?
I mean VTC 5, 6, 8 and ATC 1
Max, here are some good links that might help you for some o the questions.

M. Wanie I found a great diagram for my cover page but it is in English can I still use it or should i find something else
Thanks so much Eric, I don't think you can use highway routes though fro question 10, because of how it says in 1885
oh right thanks max.
By the way do you know if we need to make up our own routes or just show routes that actually existed?
i think we can make up our own routes and use ones that existed as long as they work and don't involve like tunnelling through a big mountain, maybe they can around the mountain. Use Google earth for this it really helps. Oh and hint: Follow the rivers because of the valleys that they are in.
Eric: Sounds good on all counts.
Max: Yup, expect the discussion to happen on Monday and Tuesday.
Kids: Good job on helping each other out!
