Today, students worked at their "Recit d'aventure" assignment. Some students have quite a good start. Hopefully, Monsieur Wanie will enjoy reading them!
As well, Monsieur Wanie handed-back the "Histoire, Chapitre 1" units. Most students did really well. Others may not have done enough research or failed to read the chapter to add depth to their answers...
86 and 87 began a new art assignment, a group one this time. The goal is to make a detailed skyscraper in 1:87th scale. Some cool websites are listed below. Students, pay attention to scale, it's 1:87 (Called HO scale), not N scale which is 1:160. 1:87 means 87 feet in real life, equals a foot in HO scale. So for example, the tree outside the classroom window that is about 43 feet tall, would be 6 inches (1/2 foot) in model form...

for the recit d'adventure assignment i did not know that it was supposed to be written in your french notebook. So mine was typed up, so does this mean that I have to rewrite it into my french notebook? or can I just hand it in?and it is 2 pages.
I cant find my french note book.....is it alright it i wirte the story thing in a different notebook?
Mr.Wanie ive looked through ssoo many websited tryng to fine what we exported to the US 50 years ago but i can find anything. What should I do????
Kailan: Just sticking with the small things, Japan exported cars, watches, seafood. Canada exported wood, wheat, processed meat products.
Nichola: I think I said 20 total.
Danielle: see above.
Alejandra: What was question 2?
Michaela: Thanks for posting that! Good find!
Ravi: I want it written in the notebook. No typed stuff...
Aly: Find it or come in and get a new one from me.
Michaela: Wood has always been our main export to the US. But we also trade in metals/minerals, electricity, heavy machinery.
mr wanie, question 2 ATC is "Do some research to find out what events occurred in Newfoundland and Labrador between their rejection of the Confederation in 1869 and their exceptance of Confederation in 1949"
to come in do you mean before 8:30?
Alejandra: Right, I remember. Here you go!

Aly: That would be best!
