Jeudi gris...

Today, Monsieur Wanie gave a summary lesson of "Histoire, Chapitre 1" for students. It's an interesting chapter that talks about the industrial revolution in British North America during the early to mid 1800s, the influx of colonists, the wheat and wood trade, and the underground railroad.

Later in the day, students worked on their "Forced Perspective" projects.

Students take note: Your "Histoire, Chapitre 1" and "Forced Perspective" projects are both due on Monday!

Monsieur Wanie I was at the basketball tournament on Thursday so I missed the "histoire" lesson. Was it anything really important that it would effect our assignment? I also still need to put some finishing touches on my box project, will you be at school at 8:15 on Monday?
Thanks, Larry Ying 8-6

Mr Wanie I have a basketball tournament this weekend so I don't know if I'll be able to finish all of the work so what do you want me to do?

Mr.Wanie for the advertisement poster how much money do you think it would cost to stay on the ship for a day? I looked on the Internet but I can't find it anywhere.

Mr. Wanie, I looked everywhere but I can't find where Samuel Cunard sailed his steamship! I may be looking in the wrong places. And also, what kind of info do we have to have on the poster??

Wait, we had to put the price too? I saw an Cunard ocean liner advertisement online and all it said was, "Cunard Line, To all parts of the world."
So mine is really simple. Is that alright?

Julia: Finish your "Histoire".

Leda: 25cents.

Katie-Jane: I posted the link last week. Check the past blogs. There's a great website. The poster is an ad. Say something like "Venez voyager avec Cunard Lines, les meilleurs bateaux a vapeur du monde!"...

Najat: Don't stress. Come in early to use the textbook!

Carol: That sounds fine too... as long as it's in French!!
