Mercredi, gris mais moins froid.

Today, many students were absent due to the Jazz Tour Band thingy...

And the students that remained, worked on their French folder in the morning and their "Histoire" and "Geographie" in the afternoon...

As well, class 86 started brainstorming for a group-newspaper (Le Journal) project...

A pretty quiet day all in all! Maybe everyone is just looking forward to Spring Break!?

For number 5 about the treaties, do we have to explain why we know the First Nations didn't sign the treaties or what their reasons were for not signing?

Nichola: Influences? I think you mean effects... Anyway, you could say that the exploding population of New Caledonia (soon to become BC) is a problem that Canada will have to deal with. The North West Mounted Police was formed to maintain peace in the area, and to make sure the arriving Americans respect the First Nations', the Metis' and the Canadians' way of life...

Kailan: They did sign the treaties. The question asks you to explain wether they wanted to or were forced to sign.

Binh: Thursday is good for your "Geo", your French folder needs to be finished and put into your notebook, and the whole thing needs to be put into your folder in the stickered file cabinet.
