Today, students in 86 and 87 had two periods each to work on the "Histoire, Chapitre 12".
Monsieur Wanie also discussed yesterday's assembly with students to highlight some of the issues students and teachers face in a world where people seem so focused on themselves...
The report card program has "gone live" so students should be aware that teachers are already starting to compile marks for the end of the year! Graduation is not too far off, taking into account that there's a week off for music camp, a week off for Arowhon and the last week after grad were few grade 8s show up!

hey mr.wanie its nichola. i was just wondering for question 5 VTC in chapter 11 (what social reform is most necessary today) im not sure exactly what they want us to be commenting on, should it have to do with unions or just anything??
hey mr. wanie, for atc 1 i histoire chapitre 12, i don't really understand what we're supposed to be doing. do we have to be interviewing the person, or is it an interview about the person? also, are we supposed to make up their answers? please clarify. thanks!
Michaela: Think about what changes are necessary... for example, every so often, they raise the amount considered to be "minimum wage" to compensate for inflation. Unions strike for increases to benefits or pay. Governments make changes to who may legally go on strike by making certain services an "essential service" thereby effectively taking away the only barganing chip some unions have.
Ella: instead of just telling us why the person is notable, make those details come out in an interview. For example: What is your name? What role did you play in the battle of Vimy Ridge?
For VTC 5 does it matter if the page is setup landscape or portait
hey mr. wanie, i won't be here on monday, would it be okay if i handed in my oral project tomorrow?
Danielle: Doesn't matter.
Ella: Tuesday before school.
